I launched Hatch Manufacturing Solutions after having spent many years in the field supporting OEMs and CMs with a myriad of electronic and contract manufactured solutions. My career began in operations for a startup, handling many facets of the business. We had a clever idea how to easily help Design Engineers double the I/O density in a traditional IDC connector series. We rebuilt an old mill building, designed special tooling, hired engineers, borrowed some money, and success soon followed. After a successful sale of the business, I pivoted to my career in business development for a wide variety of electronic and high technology products and services. 

Early on, I was fortunate to work with clever mechanical engineers at Honeywell Information Systems who collaborated with us and helped produce additional innovative products like round to flat cable and flat to round cable technology solutions. Some of these technologies were adopted and standardized by other manufacturers in the industry. These experiences, coupled with my work at three prominent manufacturers’ rep firms, Naton Associates, Focus Sales and Selmark Associates, provided invaluable lessons. 

I attribute many of my skills to my time with Fourstar Connections, where I participated in the vision and ride from basic wire and cable processing operations to a full-scale electronic box build and EMS provider, achieving the top spot in their sector.
